Answers to some of the questions customers commonly ask before moving with Pack-Man.
What areas do you service?
Pack-Man Removals is based in MacGregor on Brisbane’s south side and provides moving services throughout Brisbane and surrounding areas. If you’re unsure whether we can service your location, send us an enquiry with your pickup and drop-off addresses.
What types of moves do you do?
We help with house moves, apartment and unit moves, office moves, staging and property styling moves, furniture removals, and single or few-item moves.
Do you move single items?
Yes. You don’t need to be moving an entire home to use Pack-Man. We can help with individual pieces of furniture or a small number of items.
Do I need to have everything packed before you arrive?
We recommend having boxes packed, securely taped and ready to move before we arrive. Being organised can make loading quicker and, because your move is charged based on time, may also help keep your costs down. See our Moving Day guide for more preparation tips.
Do you dismantle and reassemble beds?
Yes. Pack-Man can dismantle and reassemble beds where required. Please mention this when booking your move so we know in advance and can allow for it when planning your move. Dismantling and reassembly forms part of the moving time.
What equipment do you bring?
Our truck is equipped with moving equipment including moving blankets, straps and trolleys/dollies to help move, protect and secure your belongings during transport.
Can you move very heavy items?
Please tell us in advance about any unusually heavy or oversized items, particularly anything around or above 100 kg. This allows us to assess the item and what may be required before moving day.
Do you work with home staging and property styling companies?
Yes. We have experience working with staging companies and can assist with transporting furniture and décor between properties, warehouses and staging jobs. Businesses requiring regular moves can also contact us about VIP client and discounted rate options.
Do you do office moves?
Yes. We can assist with moving office furniture, desks, chairs, shelving, boxes and other workplace items. Let us know about building access, lifts, loading zones and any other requirements when requesting your estimate.
What happens if my property has stairs or difficult access?
Tell us about stairs, lifts, narrow access, long walking distances, restricted parking or other access issues when requesting your estimate. The more information we have beforehand, the better we can prepare for your move.
Do I need to organise parking for the truck?
Where possible, yes. Having a suitable loading space close to the property can make the move considerably more efficient. For apartments, check whether your building requires you to reserve a loading bay or lift.
How do I book Pack-Man Removals?
Start by completing our Get a Free Estimate form with the details of your move. We’ll review your enquiry and contact you regarding the move. Submitting the estimate form itself doesn’t automatically confirm a booking.
Do you operate on Sundays?
We don’t currently offer our standard moving service on Sundays.
